Mixed Experience, Parking Issues and Breakfast Delays
onsite parking customer care
The listing mentioned parking facilities. This was misleading because there is no onsite parking. I had to walk about 8 minutes to a separate parking area costing £20 per day, increasing the overall expense. Breakfast was a problem too. I waited an hour. This delay caused me to be late for an appointment. I complained but received no real apology and still had to pay for water.

empty bottles small slippers
The shower soap and hand cream bottles were empty when i arrived, indicating a lack of thorough room preparation. furthermore, i found the complimentary slippers were too small. they seemed designed for someone with very small feet. A 6ft man could not possibly use them. this oversight detracted from the overall attention to detail i expect.

Fantastic Stay
friendly staff delicious burger excellent shower
The staff were all so lovely and very friendly. I enjoyed a amazing burger at the Forge in the evening, cooked just right. I ordered scrambled egg with salmon as well as Eggs Benedict and breakfast proved delicious. Room had nice design including bathroom, and shower worked excellent.
Finding the parking was a bit hard and the drop off area seemed quite small.

The breakfast buffet includes a wide selection with many options for both hot and cold choices. Guests can order hot dishes from a menu. The food felt fresh. The restaurant called The Forge had great ambience.

The room had modern design, the hotel decor was presented tastefully. Rooms included an iron and a hairdryer which proved useful. I found the room clean and spacious, especially the bathroom.

The hotel is close to the town center, easy walk. The hotel sits next to a beautiful park, so I could take a stroll. This location is excellent, in walking distance of many interesting places.

The reception team gave useful car parking options. The staff seemed professional, and all interactions were friendly. Breakfast team especially was friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The team had good energy.

Fantastic Stay!
helpful staff quiet room comfortable bed clean room
The staff was very helpful. I requested a quiet room and got one (it was on the higher floor). The room featured good black-out blinds and comfortable beds. Everything was clean and well-kept. I was happy with the complimentary items in the mini bar.
The drop-off area was a bit too small.

The location is perfect for exploring the city center. there is a park nearby. A Tesco Express store is just around the corner. It's a short walk into the main part of town.

Breakfast included a continental selection, and I could order a hot dish from the menu. This felt a little more luxurious than a standard breakfast. The serving staff wore jeans and white shirts. This created a modern atmosphere.

The room had a minibar and ample space. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was really good, with a shower I especially liked (great pressure!). I found the room decor beautiful.
